Burrr Cold water

This is more like it "Warm Juice"








Jamilah Star caught one of the biggest waves (if not the biggest) ever caught by a woman on that day. Got to give credit to a girl who goes out once they cancel the Eddie Aikau event and nearly close the Bay to surfers.

Dennis Pang considered that day "terrifying" saying that there were close out sets every ten minutes at one point.


Waimea lifeguard

On that same day, Jaws was rumored to have taken a lot of jetskis onto the rocks during some of the best rides of the year. Ross Clark Jones and another Brazilian tow-in surfer got run over that day. The Brazilian guy was said to have been near death, but then revived.


Logs wipeout

Local surfer and shaper Pizel broke his neck, but seems to be in really good spirits with the fact that it could have been much worse than the neck brace he has to endure for the time being.
